Double dip + dressing Sunday

How often do you do the whole 'ohhhh I am going to be good this week.....starting Monday I am going to just eat salads and tuna for lunch and just take carrot and celery sticks to work for snacks, steamed broccoli with poached chicken for dinner.....' BLAH BLAH BLAH. WTF??? Are we in isolation camp? Why do you wanna wake up and hate yourself everyday?? HAHAHA I say that's bbbbbbbbbbssssssss!!!
This is my theory.....set yourself up with amazable flavours so you feel satisfied. None of this taste bud deprivation shit. You can stick to this kind of healthy eating, hell I do. But it's all about making plain vegetables exciting. Here are 2 dips that are stupid easy to make to that you can enjoy with your veggie sticks snacks and also 2 dressings that you should make at the start of the week in a bigger batch so you can just mix and match with what ever salad you want to quickly prepare! I almost never make the same recipes more than once or twice, but OMG my Creamy spiced tahini dressing that  Nouveau Raw gave me inspiration for is my new go to!!!

Cheaters hommus

1 can of chick peas drained and rinsed
1 clove of garlic crushed
juice of one small lemon
1/4 cup tahini
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp honey melted

Puree all ingredients in a processor or blender until smooth.

Hard boiled egg dip

4 hard boiled eggs
olive oil
sea salt
1 tsp mustard powder

1. Blend eggs in a processor or blender and gradually add olive oil until you have a smooth consistency
2. Add mustard powder and salt to taste and continue to blend.

Creamy Spiced tahini dressing

1/4 cup tahini
2 tbsp gluten free Tamari (or gluten free soy sauce)
1 tbsp organic apple cider vinegar
1 tsp ground chilli flakes
2 tsp macadamia nut oil (or any other nut oil)
1 tbsp organic honey melted

Pour all ingredients into a jar and shake until combined. You can add a little water if it's too thick or you prefer a runnier dressing.

Zesty lemon and ginger dressing

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon organic honey
3 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon organic apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon ginger, grated
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until combined.

When life (or your buddies) give you lemons, make a lemon dressing

*You can store these dressings jars in the fridge so you you have them ready to go. Even if you only have 2 ingredients for your salad, if you mix one of these babies with it I guarantee explosiveness in your mouth!!!
