Choc 'not only orange' smoothie




Getting the veggies in again! Whoop! Tried this first with grated pumpkin and a mandarin. Um, no. Not great. The pumpkin would totally work if it was roasted instead and you swapped the mandarin for an orange. You should give it a go cos you are awesome and then tell me about it
This smoothie came out surprisingly way thicker than I expected. Yay.
Most likely because of the cacao and the protein powder. Just goes to show that you don’t always need to use milk. But using the coconut water gives it extra flavour and sweetness (that milk would) and you don’t need to add and honey or extra fruit. But if you need, then all means!!

  What you will need

  • ½ orange peeled
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 2 heaped tbsp raw cacao 
  • 2 tbsp protein powder
  • 1 cup of coconut water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 handful of ice 


What you will do with it
 

  1. Throw into your blender and blend away.
  2. There is no step 2, it's just a smoothie!!
