Red Smoothie AKA Capsicum and Raspberry Smoothie

This is going to create a flavour explosion in your mouth. Legitimately. Green smoothies are great because yes, GREENS ARE GREAT! But we should most definitely be consuming foods from all colours of the rainbow to make sure that we are getting the most nutrient dense and diverse range of foods that our bodies crave. So make sure you give this a go!! 

P.s this also works well poured over ice cream or fruit salad and can pretty much be layered, drizzled, stirred with anything. Um, did someone say stirred through warm rice or quinoa??


Capsicum and Raspberry Smoothie


What you will need

  • ½ cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 small capsicum chopped
  • ½ cup coconut milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Handful of ice cubes
  • ½ cup of coconut water (or extra milk)

 *1 tsp of honey optional

What you will do with it


  1. Throw into your blender and blend away.
  2. There is no step 2, it's just a smoothie!!
